Heh.. I know we were told to keep squeeing to a minimum, so I won't squee per se... I will just calmly state a fact that makes me very happy:

In less than 18 hours I will be watching LotR: RotK.

*calmly walks away* .... *squeels*

Current mood: giddy.

14th December, 2003. 1:06 am. Hello(summerlily530)

I just joined this, so I might as well introduce myself.

Hi, my name is Liz and it has been 18 hours since I last watched a LoTR trailer. ;) *waits for you all to say "Hi Liz"*

I am slight addict, I have read the series, including the Silmarillion and the Hobbit. I am a huge fan of the films, Peter Jackson's amazing directing and Elijah Wood's eyes. Sorry, don't mean to fangirl, it is just generally the truth. Other than that, I am looking forward to seeing the film like no other, have already got my midnight showing tickets...

That is all for now. :)

Current mood: bouncy.

The Lord of the Rings: Return of the King Movie Community
The much awaited 3rd and last installation of Peter Jackson's The Lord of the Rings Movie premieres in January 2004. We have waited for it, and now it's here.

Simple Rules
(greyheavens is not enforcing it on everyone, but I, cohort, highly disagree.)

1> Whether just one or a caboodle of it (read: spam), pictures are to be put behind cut. Common sense, people. (Refer to FAQ #75)
2> Whether you're dealing with pictures or lines from the movie script, never ever forget to state your source. Grant credit where it is due.
3> See the "squee" under the community name? Give it a chance to rest. Yes, yes, I know how you feel about not being able to use it after the Orlando word (Orlando squeeeee! or something like that). But I also know your vocabulary is not limited to squee or squeeing, so as much as possible, use it often. Plus, we are not all bouncing rubber duckies here. Agree? Settled.
4> Spoilage is your choice. I don't recommend it, though. Unless, of course, you want people running after you with a club for stealing their joy in surprises.
5> Speak in English at all times. Italicize languages other than that. (Quenya, French, and so forth)
6> This is your standard LiveJournal community, so we apply common rules here. Being that, rotk is user friendly (there are no reports of bothersome fist-fights, none yet, and I don't think they will ever be present). We don't eat you alive if you squee more than three times. Although that is basically going against Rule #2, so what we're going to do is we'll scourge your fingers to death or pound it to inutility with your keyboard. Like it or not :> User friendliness to the extreme.

AFT (A Few Things, since I've been asked what on Middle-earth AFT is.)

Expect spoilers. Look Rule #4 up for a better (better?) explanation.

Expect spoilers, again.

rotk is, not in any way, associated with New Line Cinema, Productions, and Records. This community was created to host LJists' opinions and sentiments, and only for that reason. No money is being made.

Current mood: accomplished.
